From June 14-17, St. Petersburg hosted the International Economic Forum, which has been held since 1997, and acted as a platform for communication between representatives of the business community and discussion of key economic issues. Since 2006, it has been organized with the support of the government and with the participation of the President of the Russian Federation, and has become a platform for the development of international relations in various sectors of the economy with the participation of top officials of states.
The exhibition was attended by: 130 high-ranking foreign officials, 1,700 heads of business companies, more than 60 representatives of federal executive and legislative authorities.
At the forum, BONAKA company was represented by General Director Elena Oblogina, she took part in the event: "The project center of the Club of Young Industrialists for investment niches and industrial projects as a tool for building cooperative chains with the largest customers." Elena Yurievna, during the discussion, came up with ideas for the introduction of offset contracts for the development of production capacities, which was supported by a number of participants, including Alexey Besprozvannykh, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation.
Within the framework of the forum, issues of integration and development of fundamental and applied scientific research aimed at obtaining new knowledge for the development of innovative technologies in the field of microbiology were discussed. The topic of organizing international cooperation was also touched upon.
This year, participants from 130 countries came to the forum. Asia-Pacific region, Africa, Latin America, India, China and the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and, of course, Russia. These countries are directly involved in the forum.
The program of the scientific conference includes more than 150 events attended by thousands of speakers, moderators and representatives of companies. Discussion platforms at SPIEF-2023 are divided into six blocks:

Large companies, departments and regions have placed their stands at the forum sites. For example, a new Lada X-Cross 5 is presented to the participants at the St. Petersburg stand. Bashkortostan shows a "beekeeper robot", Uralchem decorated its stand with fresh flowers, and Gazprom Media installed a large screen on which waves were reproduced, and a surf was set up below for spectacular photos.
Rusagro, which occupies a leading position in sugar production, pig farming, crop production and fat-and-oil business, reached an agreement within the framework of the forum to modernize sugar factories in the Tambov region.
